He or she will help create and execute a detailed engagement plan in conjunction with Imprivata sr. and line-of-business management designed to maximize the Imprivata business objectives from both solution integration and revenue producing perspectives. Core responsibilities include conveying Imprivatas healthcare market IT security vision, developing strong partner executive relationships, directly influencing partners product and solution roadmap priorities, and providing strong internal cross-functional leadership. While this position is fundamentally business management focused rather than sales focused, the individual will be responsible for developing and successfully implementing Go-to-Market plans and activities. This individual will work cross-functionally with the Imprivata line-of-business, marketing, services, and sales teams on an on-going basis to ensure the attainment of collective objectives and to maximize the opportunity. The expected outcome is a visible, effective and profitable partnership that enhances Imprivatas strategic and financial position. Qualified candidates must have outstanding presence and inter-personal skills; presentation and written communication skills; strong cross-functional management capabilities; and a demonstrated track record of building, mining and sustaining solid relationships with top tier Healthcare Clinical and IT vendors. Previous experience developing and managing new business development partnerships in a Healthcare software space is critical. In addition, candidates must have the ability to manage partner needs and expectations, and recognize industry trends and drive/adjust business development focus accordingly. This position is based at Imprivatas corporate headquarters in Lexington, MA and requires approximately 30% travel.
