On site Technology Transfer Specialist

In this critical role you will be responsible for working with Innovative Silicon’s technology licensees to help them bring-up Z-RAM technology in their environment. As an On-Site Technology Transfer Specialist, you will have two primary roles: • work side-by-side with licensees as they develop and qualify the technology – either at their facility or at an ISi facility nearby, and • facilitate communication between the licensee and ISi’s technology specialists. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent with the licensees. The remainder of your time will be spent at ISi’s Santa Clara, California and/or Lausanne, Switzerland offices for training, program reviews, and related tasks. In addition to the requirements below, the successful candidate must be a self-starter, be able to define his or her own activities and manage these activities towards a goal, be able to interact with internal and external organizations across continents, and he or she must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE • Working side-by-side with licensees in one of the two following areas: o DEVICE: process integration, device design, and modeling o ARRAY: product engineering, memory testing, memory circuit design, memory architecture • Acting as a communications focal point between the licensee and the factory. • Pro-actively determining whether the licensee’s Z-RAM program is on-track in all areas.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS • Excellent oral and written communications skills in German is a must • Excellent oral and written English skills. • 5+ years experience and demonstrated strong skills in one or more of the following areas of memory (SRAM, DRAM, flash) development: process integration, device characterization and modeling, testing, circuit design, product architecture. • Excellent inter-personal skills. • Excellent ability to operate autonomously. • Excellent facilitation skills. • Bachelors degree required, MS or PhD preferred.
