Web/UI Designer

Description:

Responsible for
  • Working with product management to design various aspect of the Going.com Web site and related widgets and apps
  • User-centric design emphasizing ease of use, simplicity, and fun
  • Providing strong creative, conceptual and visual skills
  • Ensuring design consistency across site, e.g. by maintaining style guides

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, BFA or equivalent with a concentration in visual communication, digital arts or design
  • A strong sense of visual style with exceptional design, color, and interaction skills
  • 3+ years experience in Web design, 2+ with interactive consumer sites, experience with social networking or Web 2.0 sites a plus
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, familiarity with CSS, knowledge of Flash a plus
  • Ability to show strong initiative, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
  • Solid work ethic and team player attitude
