REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
This position requires excellent organization and time management skills as well as, demonstrated interpersonal skills. You must be capable of meeting deadlines and be a team player who has the ability to work well and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. You must possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as be detail oriented and able to solve problems and issues using established processes. To be successful, you will have the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently on several different tasks simultaneously, setting priorities while ensuring completion of tasks under minimal supervision. This position reports to the Director-US Aftermarket Sales.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Primary face of Avidyne with end customers and Dealers
Manage territory and meet set revenue goals
Host customer and potential customer seminars
Educate dealer network on products
Assist with technical support high level troubleshooting
Pass qualified leads to competent dealer network
Attend open houses and trade shows
Competently demonstrate Avidyne products to dealers and end customers
Assist Director, Aftermarket Sales with forecasting revenue
Assist Director, Aftermarket Sales with funneling market intelligence and information to Aftermarket Product Manager
Qualifications:College degree required
4 - 5 years experience in aviation or avionics industry
2 – 3 years of inside sales or customer service experience
Microsoft Office Application skills
Proven ability of successfully managing multiple projects
Strong relationship building skills
Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills
Travel requirements include:
Attending major industry tradeshows
Attending Seminars and Open Houses
Dealer visits
Approximately 50%
