ExaGrid provides a cost effective and scalable disk-based backup solution that works with existing backup applications. ExaGrid combines high quality SATA storage, compression and data de-duplication for fast and reliable backups and restores. ExaGrid's innovative approach minimizes the amount of data to be stored by providing standard data compression for the most recent backups, along with byte-level data de-duplication for all previous backups. ExaGrid's byte-level data de-duplication technology stores changes from backup to backup instead of storing full file copies. This unique approach reduces the disk space required by at least 20 to 1, delivering unparalleled cost savings and performance at 25% the cost of standard SATA storage. ExaGrid targets the mid market and small enterprise companies, focusing on senior-level corporate IT. ExaGrid Systems is a privately held company funded by some of the leading venture capital firms in North America. Our corporate headquarters are located in Westborough, Massachusetts.
 
ExaGrid is seeking a Channel Manager based out of the Dallas area. The target market is to recruit and develop Value Added Resellers that are currently selling storage & backup software / hardware solutions to VAR's, SI's, ISV's and mid-market to small enterprise organizations.
  • You wil identify Value Added Resellers that meet the desired profile for size, target audience, expertise and product line synergy.
  • Recruit profiled VAR's, coordinate training and marketing programs, manage VAR's to a repeatable sales model.
  • Provide senior sales leadership and drive channel sales activities with Channel Partners for the assigned geographical sales territory providing detailed, accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals of ExaGrid's turnkey disk-based backup solution.
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential channel partners; present and demonstrate the ExaGrid sales only model.
  • Develop an understanding of the channel partner's business in order to map initial and on-going requirements for program implementation, training, sales and marketing support to meet business objectives.

 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Technology or equivalent desired.
 
  • Minimum 5 years channel partner management experience, recruiting and developing VAR partners selling software / hardware solutions to corporate IT operations groups, with a demonstrable record of sales success (substantiated by W2 / 1099 records).
  • Consistent "Top 10%" performer; President's Club or equivalent. 
  • Strong, current "Rolodex" of top performing channel partners selling into the IT corporate sector in the assigned territory.
  • Strong experience in coordinating training, marketing, demo and sales support resources for channel partners. Previous sales experience at an "Early Stage" company developing channel sales to the Mid market.
  • Highly knowledgeable of technology industry trends and strategies as it relates to the data storage / data back-up industry segment.
  • A sound understanding of IT infrastructure technologies is required. Storage & Backup product experience is a strong plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
