Development of core front-end e-commerce applications.

 

TECHNICAL CHALLENGES:

 

• Develop an flexible front-end for consumer-facing mass customization incorporating Web 2.0 components.

• Develop a highly intuitive search capability for users to rapidly converge on an item on interest.

• Develop a rules-based visual workflow with an intelligent layout manager to allow rapid configuration and customization of views.

• Design a front-end architecture for multiple role-based personalized views with full International support.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

• Hands-on experience with developing web-based consumer e-commerce applications.
  
• Hands-on experience with advanced HTML development including XHTML, table-less layout, cross-browser compatibility and CSS.
  
• Hands-on experience with Javascript (JSON) and Web 2.0 Javascript libraries (Prototype, Script.aculo.us, JQuery, Dojo, MooTools, ExtJS, etc.).
  
• Experience with JSP’s.
  
• Experience with AJAX and/or Flex is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with SEO/SEM is a plus.
  
• Experience with Photoshop for design template slicing.
  
• Experience with iterative OO development.
•  3+ years of experience in front-end development.
•  BS in computer science or engineering.
