Best Practices Analyst Job Description Position: Best Practices Analyst Manager: Director, Global Accounts POSITION SUMMARY The Account Services team at Coremetrics is currently seeking an Austin-based Best Practices Analyst. Best Practices Analysts work closely with client facing staff to service our retail, travel, and financial services clients. The position requires a skill set that involves data analysis, online business best practices knowledge and client facing ability. This team is a highly skilled and very efficient group of self-motivated professionals. Coremetrics’ clients continually turn to this team for new ideas and new ways to drive online business improvements. Members of this team should expect to participate actively in making decisions that result in company wide changes. Be prepared to work hard and enjoy your workplace thoroughly. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with direct client account owners to determine client need regarding specific data analyses • Work with sales and marketing staff to produce documents around web analytics best practices and prototype data analyses deliverables that can be used in the sales cycle • Create high impact Business Insight documents that can be easily replicated using data from Coremetrics’ Online Analytics reports, detailing recommended business changes and measured ROI projections based on your suggestions • Assist client account owners with case study production • Deliver Business Insight presentations to clients from time to time • Create templates that can be used to re-produce data analyses or Business Insights

Qualifications:

SKILLS • The ability to learn quickly and independently. You will have to become a Coremetrics expert in a short amount of time. • Excellent presentation and writing skills. Must be comfortable interacting with manager level personnel of Fortune 500 companies. • Excellent teaching skills. Must be able to teach clients and internal client facing team how to reproduce data analyses. • Understanding of database concepts and ability to quickly learn and use SQL or PL/SQL at an intermediate level. You will occasionally need to run custom queries against the database for specific data analyses. EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree • Business analysis experience required • Quantitative analysis backgrounds are a plus • Web analytics experience and online business best practices knowledge a plus
