Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer

Position Summary: Systems Analysis is responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications. Ensures that requirements are accurately implemented, develop and make change to new and existing software code. Utilizes in depth knowledge of methods, tools and techniques for requirements and workflow capture and develop application per business requirement. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for activities such as requirement gathering, assessing requirements, test planning, analysis, and concept development. Uses deep subject matter/functional expertise, influence and process skills to help internal customers and stakeholders identify and meet business priority needs. Jointly develops practical implementation plans that consider sensitivities with other accountable parties. Generates practical, sustainable and creative options to solve problems, while maximizing existing resources. Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices. Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details documentation. Prepare functional requirement documentation, use cases, screen designs and test scripts as needed. Ensures issues and change requests are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Interact with Project Manager to communicate and clarify requirements, track project progress, identify and communicate risks and status to supervisor, and to assess potential impacts to the business. Maintain project documentation including requirement changes, enhancement lists, issues lists. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise with the systems being developed or enhanced. Use strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical business and end-users can understand.

Qualifications:

Skills: Expertise in .NET, Visual C++, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MS SQL. Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer application needs and translate them into application requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of people as managers, users and support staff. Develop web based applications and Internet architecture. Database design and MS SQL. Strong problem solving skills, follow-up and attention to detail. Self starter, ability to learn and adopt to new development technology and requirement. Ability to multi-task on multiple projects at one time. Experience: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred or equivalent experience. Experience with Apache, SharePoint Designer, Windows Workflow Foundation, Flex, Flash, Oracle. Minimum 5 years of experience required. Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills. Proficient with .NET, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
