Lead Software Engineer, Professional Services

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with Enterprise clients to identify key business objectives and define how Bullhorn can help achieve those objectives.

     

  • Set expectations in terms of time required to accomplish technology objectives according to number of users, technical complexity and customization projects.

     

  • Responsible for design and delivery of end solution based on client's business requirements.

     

  • Lead a team of developers responsible for delivering custom solutions built in a variety of languages, most commonly Java, C#.NET, ColdFusion, that leverage Bullhorn's web services. 

     

    • Additionally, will be responsible for significant amount of coding. This is a hands-on role.

       

  • Collaborate with Sales to help identify detailed functional specifications for potential client needs and engineer strategic solutions accordingly.

     

  • Serves as Bullhorn professional services' senior-most liaison between the company and client in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.

     

  • Investigate new technologies and techniques and research ongoing industry/software developments.

     

  • Mentor junior developers in industry best practices, procedures, and concepts.

     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

     

  • Must have 7+ years of experience of prior development experience in object-oriented languages (such as Java, C#).

     

  • Must have expertise with custom development, systems integration, and technical architecture at Enterprise levels.

     

  • Must have expertise using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable components.

     

  • Must have demonstrated experience and understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions.

     

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to customers' business needs.

     

  • Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.

     

  • Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results.
