Job Summary:

 

The EMEA Sales Director is responsible for growing sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa with primary focus on the United Kingdom, Benelux and Germany. Bit9’s business model is to work cooperatively with distributors and resellers in the individual geographies that make up the EMEA territory. The EMEA Sales Director is responsible for recruiting, training and managing these partners as well as identifying, qualifying and developing opportunities directly with end user prospects. Success in this role will be measured specifically by bookings generated in the region.

Essential responsibilities include:

 

  • Exceed booking and revenue quota targets

     

  • Establish access and relationships with key decision makers, typically at the CIO and CSO level

     

  • Develop and execute account strategy for major accounts and opportunities

     

  • Qualify and understand prospect security priorities and provide compelling presentations of Bit9 solutions

     

  • Recruit, train and manage regional distributors and VAR’s

     

  • Work cooperatively with these partners to execute regional marketing activities, target specific accounts, gain access to decision makers, support opportunity development activities and help them close transactions

     

  • Leverage established partner account presence and relationships to gain access to IT Security and IT Management professionals

     

  • Develop and execute EMEA regional marketing plans with the help of the Bit9 Marketing Department

     

  • Manage demonstration and evaluation activities with the help of the Technical Account Management team

     

  • Work cooperatively with Inside Sales to maximize territory productivity

     

  • Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant prospect information using Salesforce.com

     

Qualifications:

Qualifications & requirements:

 

  • 5+ years experience selling software security and/or infrastructure products to corporate enterprises

     

  • Demonstrated history of exceeding booking and revenue targets

     

  • Demonstrated track record of working successfully with VAR and distributor partners

     

  • Comfortable calling at the senior executive level

     

  • Highly effective presentation and closing skills

     

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

     

  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills

     

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

     

  • Dynamic, high-energy self-starter

     

  • Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company

     

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience

     

  • Must be located in UK or Netherlands

 

  • Willing to travel 50%
