Responsibilities:
- Participate in full software lifecycle including design, implementation, and deployment
- Develop highly scalable systems using a variety of languages, especially Java, and technologies
- Deliver software against aggressive schedules
- Define architectural improvements to enable orders-of-magnitude growth in traffic and order volumes
- Work with business stakeholders to identify software solutions to business challenges
- Leading projects of several developers
Qualifications
- Strong background in computer science and software engineering
- Able to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Experience working as part of a team software development effort
- Effective time-management skills, including schedule estimation and the ability to manage several competing priorities
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
