Boulder, CO -- Feb. 12, 2009 -- Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, Inc., the nation’s first and largest chain of integrative pharmacies, has named Mark Panzer as the company’s new president effective February 2. Having previously served as chief operating officer, Panzer assumes this additional leadership role based on his accomplishments since joining the company in October.

He has quickly recognized where his vast experience and knowledge strategically fits into Pharmaca’s need to improve overall operating performance while embracing the relevance and promise of our brand,” said Pharmaca’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board Barry Perzow.
“This allows me to more fully engage in the innovative and visionary initiatives and progress that will be imperative to differentiate [Pharmaca] and make us the most compelling retail pharmacy experience in the industry,” Perzow added in a company-wide statement.
Panzer holds a master’s of business administration in finance from Loyola University, Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeastern Illinois University. He has over 30 years of experience in the food and drug store industry.
