The acquisition of Morefocus by NameMedia accelerates NameMedia's strategy of developing and creating content for its thousands of Direct Search destinations. Direct Search happens when a consumer types a search term as a URL into the browser's address bar, leading to a site specifically designed for that topic. NameMedia is creating thousands of search destinations based on having the world's largest portfolio of domain names.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed and Morefocus will remain in its San Diego headquarters.
