Digital Outlook and PhotoBox create the Big Picture, the launch of Photobox Mosaic

Sartrouville, France - August 17, 2006 - Digital Outlook, have partnered with PhotoBox.co.uk, to produce PhotoBox Mosaic, an application that enables consumers to be part of a bigger picture by simply uploading their own www.photobox.co.uk/mosaic.

This exciting application offers many possibilities for the user and both partners.

“PhotoBox Mosaic is a great user driven application; it encourages participation, creates communities and a competition element adds value both to brands and the user experience.” Said Jens Bachem, MD, Digital Outlook

MY Mosaic: lets users create their own mosaic. They simply upload their photograph of their family anniversary or stag weekend, their most loved football team or least loved politician and then all they need to do is invite family or friends to take part.

The finished Photobox Mosaic image can then be replicated onto a t-shirt, mug, cushion, poster or simply as a photograph.

WIN Mosaic is a chance to win just for taking part. Brands, affiliates and publications can create a variety of online mosaics to give away prizes on a regular basis or as part of a bigger competition. Visual representation of a product, placing a product central to the mosaic, creating a mood photograph of a product, create a celebrity from fans faces – are just some of the concepts that are possible.

Ben Ferrier, marketing manager at PhotoBox says, “We aim to engage our members and encourage them to interact with the PhotoBox site and be part of a greater online community. Innovations such as PhotoBox Mosaic set PhotoBox aside from being just a standard photo service, and is the latest addition to our wide range of services.”
