Accomplished entrepreneur joins CrowdSource’s executive team; reunites with Stephanie Leffler for round two

CrowdSource, an industry leader in managed crowdsourcing solutions, announced today the appointment of Erin Steinbruegge as Chief Operating Officer. Steinbruegge joins CrowdSource’s executive leadership team and will oversee day-to-day operations, including product development, engineering, workforce management and marketing. This is the second time Steinbruegge has joined Stephanie Leffler, CrowdSource cofounder and CEO, in managing a high-growth business. From 2005 to 2007, Steinbruegge led marketing operations for MonsterCommerce, Leffler’s e-commerce company that was acquired by NetworkSolutions in 2006.

“Erin possesses the right combination of vision and execution; I am thrilled to work with her again and know she will help us take CrowdSource to the next level,” said Stephanie Leffler. “Erin’s track record of success and extensive experience building and leading passionate teams that deliver strategic solutions to enterprise clients will help us capitalize on the rapidly-growing market for scalable content solutions. She’s someone who will make an immediate impact.”

Launching and leading startups focused on digital products is a familiar environment for Steinbruegge. After leaving Network Solutions, she founded the Loud Few, a St. Louis-based digital marketing agency that was acquired by advertising agency Moosylvania in 2011. As Partner and Chief Digital Officer of Moosylvania, Steinbruegge headed the agency’s digital operations, leading the agency to two of its most successful years in history and more than tripling the size of its digital team. She is also the founder of iScream Social, a content marketing application by Moosylvania that is currently in beta.

“CrowdSource’s technology is both innovative and disruptive in positive ways, which immediately captivated me,” said Steinbruegge. “I am honored and inspired to lead a team that is solving one of marketers' biggest challenges right now, which is how to produce quality content at scale. We’re changing the way people work, literally.”
