Company Adds Networking Technology Industry Veteran to Board of Directors

Gigamon® (NYSE: GIMO), a leader in traffic visibility solutions with the innovative Unified Visibility Fabric™, today announced the appointment of Paul Milbury to its board of directors. He has also been appointed as a member of the company’s Audit Committee.

“Paul’s extensive industry knowledge and his broad executive experience in a variety of networking and information technology companies will help us to deliver long term value for our customers and shareholders,” said Corey Mulloy, chairman of the Gigamon Board of Directors. “We warmly welcome Paul to the board.”

Mr. Milbury, served as vice president of operations and chief financial officer of Starent Networks, Corp., a provider of mobile network solutions, from January 2007 until its acquisition by Cisco Systems, Inc., in December 2009. From December 2009 to July 2010, Mr. Milbury played a key role in integrating Starent Networks into Cisco to create the Mobile Internet Technology Group. Prior to Starent, from December 2000 to March 2007, Mr. Milbury served as vice president and chief financial officer of Avid Technology, Inc., a digital media creation, management and distribution solutions company. Mr. Milbury currently serves on the board of directors of Infinera Corporation, an optical networking equipment provider. Mr. Milbury also serves on the boards of directors of several privately-held companies. Mr. Milbury holds a B.B.A. in business and economics and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
