Jason Min
Principal
As a Principal in Highland’s Menlo Park office, Jason spends the majority of his time tracking technology investments across all stages of company growth, and is actively involved with Bromium, Gigamon, Qumulo, vArmour Networks and Violin Memory. He’s particularly interested in security, which is a constantly vibrant space due to the proliferation of the internet, the rise of hackers and the increasingly smart developers that continue to push previously set boundaries.
Prior to joining Highland, Jason was an Associate at General Atlantic, an $18 billion global private equity firm based in Palo Alto, CA. While at GA, Jason analyzed and executed investments in the software, virtualization, gaming and mobile sectors. He worked closely with TriNet, Altair Engineering, Critical Path and IPValue to support the corporate development activities of GA portfolio companies.
Before GA, Jason was an investment banking analyst in Credit Suisse's Technology Mergers and Acquisitions Group based in San Francisco. While at Credit Suisse, he focused on mergers and acquisitions across a variety of technology sub-sectors.
Jason earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He went on to achieve his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.
