MokaFive Signs Tech Data as Authorized Distributor

MokaFive™, whose products provide a secure computing experience from any device, today announced a distribution partnership with Tech Data Corporation, one of the world’s largest wholesale IT distributors. Tech Data is now authorized to distribute MokaFive Express, MokaFive Suite and MokaFive for iOS software to its partner network throughout North America.

“Partnering with MokaFive provides us with the opportunity to round out our product offerings for our Apple and virtualization-solution providers,” said Chuck Bartlett, vice president and general manager, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS), Tech Data Corporation. “Our solution providers will be able to quickly deploy a desktop-virtualization solution at an attractive price point to both the reseller and the customer.”

MokaFive’s client-side virtualization product, MokaFive Suite, is an affordable alternative to virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), which stores and executes virtual machines on datacenter servers. Because MokaFive runs on a user’s endpoint, it requires no additional backend infrastructure, making it possible to deploy an entire company’s worth of virtual desktops at roughly 1/10th of the cost of server-side VDI. MokaFive can support up to 10,000 users with one management server.

MokaFive’s new partner program will maximize lead opportunity and qualification for Tech Data resellers and solution providers. Beyond the traditional online resources, the program includes unique ROI analysis tools, co-marketing programs, lead generation and promotional email samples for every use case. The program is also designed to eliminate channel conflict and enhance sell-though with all license revenues flowing to the resellers that sign up and register deals.
