Scott Bushman Joins Metacafe as Vice President of Business Development


Leading video entertainment site attracts former Yahoo! and Disney exec

Palo Alto, CA – December 6, 2007 – Metacafe, whose more than 30 million unique viewers each month make it one of the world’s largest video entertainment sites, has appointed Scott Bushman its vice president of business development. In this role, Bushman will cultivate relationships with global media companies, oversee content licensing deals and pursue other opportunities to grow Metacafe’s leadership in short-form video entertainment.

Bushman brings more than 15 years of experience in media and entertainment. Most recently, he served as senior director, business development, global publisher solutions for Yahoo!, where he developed, negotiated and implemented strategic distribution partnerships with major players in entertainment, sports, music, TV, gaming and social networking. Previously, Bushman spent four years at the Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG), culminating in his appointment as vice president and general manager for EXPN, an online action sports extension of ESPN which he created and founded. Additionally, he has held senior positions with Freespace Media Group, Broadband Interactive Group, and Media Holdings Group. Bushman holds a BA from Harvard and earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.
