Coremetrics Appoints Two Key Executives to Lead Product Management and Product Marketing

 

Industry Veterans, Ligia Zamora and Martin Doettling, to Spearhead Development and Marketing of Company’s Portfolio

SAN MATEO, Calif., January 7, 2010 – Coremetrics, the leader in marketing optimization, has appointed Ligia Zamora as vice president of product management and Martin Doettling as vice president of product marketing. Zamora and Doettling each bring nearly 20 years of experience in product management and marketing respectively for numerous high-tech companies. Their appointment reflects Coremetrics’ commitment to expanding the ranks of its leadership team, and its related goal to accelerate growth through the expansion of its product portfolio and the development of new customer acquisition and retention programs.

Ligia Zamora
As vice president, product management at Coremetrics, Ligia will drive the strategy, roadmap and ongoing development of the company’s product portfolio. She will report directly to Joe Davis, Coremetrics CEO. She brings more than 15 years of product management experience to the company, including brand management, product management and product marketing roles in both public and private companies.

Prior to joining Coremetrics, Ligia was director of product management at SuccessFactors, where she led product strategy, management and product marketing initiatives for a suite of applications aimed at the SMB market. Ligia also led various product management and product marketing initiatives at both Remedy CRM and PeopleSoft CRM including the design and launch of PeopleSoft’s fastest growing product in less than nine months.

She holds an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BS in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College.

Martin Doettling
As vice president of product marketing, Martin will lead Coremetrics’ global product and go-to-market strategy and will report to John Squire, chief strategy officer, Coremetrics. Martin brings more than 16 years of software marketing and product leadership to Coremetrics and an in-depth understanding of delivering software-as-a-service solutions that have immediate impact on the business performance of customers around the globe.

Before joining Coremetrics, Martin served as vice president of worldwide marketing at CollabNet where he led a game-changing go-to-market strategy that fueled three years of consecutive revenue and customer growth. Prior to CollabNet, Martin served as the senior vice president of products and marketing at Centrata where he led the company’s product leadership in IT service management with a portfolio of standardized enterprise IT services and service delivery processes in the enterprise. He was also the senior vice president of products and marketing at Kana Software where he extended Kana’s portfolio of leading CRM applications with a new line of online marketing and customer service solutions, creating a new benchmark in online customer service. Additionally, Martin held executive product and marketing leadership roles at Vitria, Remedy and Adobe.

Martin holds graduate degrees from The University of Michigan, Michigan State University and the University of Freiburg, Germany.
