Pharmaca is first business to be recognized as a Five-Time Award Winner by the US
Commerce Association

Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, the nation’s first and largest chain of integrative pharmacies, was recently honored with its fifth “Best of Sonoma” award in the pharmacy category from the US Commerce Association. This is the first year that a business has qualified as a Five-Time Award Winner.

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and specific business category. Award honorees are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for the hard work we perform in serving the Sonoma community,” says Michael Stowe, manager of the Sonoma store, which opened at 303 West Napa Street in 2002. “We’re also celebrating our tenth anniversary in Sonoma this year, so receiving this award is the icing on the cake.”

“We already get such wonderful feedback from our customers,” adds Sonoma Pharmacy Manager Aman Garg. “But an award like this recognizes just how strongly we believe in putting customers first.”

Because of its dedication to innovation and customer service, Pharmaca has garnered numerous awards in the last several years, including Retailer of the Year by Chain Drug Review magazine (2011). Pharmaca was also chosen Chain of the Year by Drug Topics magazine (2009), and continues to receive local awards such as Pharmacy of the Year by Albuquerque Magazine, Best of Boulder in the Bath and Beauty Category by Boulder Weekly (2009-2011) and Best Pharmacy by San Francisco’s 7x7 magazine (2012).
