Title Program Manager

• Provide end-to-end project management throughout the life cycle of a program by coordinating the efforts of all necessary resources across SoC design, software development, systems and manufacturing.

   

• Understand all aspects of the program and as part of a local start-up, candidate will demonstrate technical ability to gather content and make informed decisions to drive programs.

   

• Be a single source of program status, communicating up to executive staff and across all functional teams for all programs, highlighting the top issues and working with corss-functional team leads on the mitigation plans for each of them.

   

• Maintain full accountability for managing concurrent, highly complex programs that may span multiple regions, functions and/or business units.

   

• Maintain responsibility for detailed planning including program structure estimating, resource allocation and assignment, detailed scheduling, critical path analysis, consolidating project plans into an overall program plan, and negotiating any sequencing conflicts.

   

• Direct program activities utilizing the organizations standard processes to ensure the timely delivery of stated business benefits, comparing actual to plans and adjusting plans as necessary. Where processes have not yet been defined, create appropriate process models.

   

• Assess, plan for, and manage program risks including mitigation and contingency plans; manage issues, escalations and problem resolutions.

   

• Define program scope and ensure changes to scope and deliverables are managed using change control process.

   

• Deliver clear and complete communication and status regarding the progress of the program to both internal and external audiences.

   

• Utilize knowledge of business, industry and technology to incorporate business process.

   

• Bachelors or Masters degreeElectrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.

   

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and being technically involved.

   

• At least 10 years of experience managing hardware, software, or silicon development efforts and a solid understanding of the processes, methodologies and product delivery.

   

• Technical knowledge in Software, SoC, and Systems development lifecycle and ability to ask the right questions to the cross-functional team leads to identify issues.

   

• Solid understanding of project management techniques.

   

• Previous experience with PMO or system-level architectures a plus

   

• Self-motivated and driven to continuously improve personal and professional skills combined with openness to constructive feedback.

   

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
